Tomorrow across the UK will bring a mix of sunshine and showers, with western coasts and hills seeing the heaviest rain while the southeast stays largely dry and mild. The best of the brightness will be around London and the Home Counties, turning cloudier later from the west as a weak front drifts east.

Where will the sun shine tomorrow?

The southeast, including parts of Kent, Sussex and London, should stay dry with spells of sunshine through the morning and early afternoon. Further north and west, from Manchester through to Liverpool, expect a brighter start but rain pushing in after lunch. Inland across the Midlands, it will be a cloudy day with patchy light rain, while northern cities such as Leeds and Newcastle see blustery showers blown in on a brisk south-westerly wind. Coastal towns in the southwest, including Bristol, will catch the showers first.

How warm will it feel?

Temperatures will be around average for late spring: highs of 15–17°C in London and the southeast, dropping to 12–14°C across the north and west under the cloud and rain. It will feel cooler in the wind along exposed coasts such as Brighton and the Cheshire shore. A light fleece or waterproof jacket will be handy if you’re heading out in the morning.
